Planning

Logframe has in its matrix (and even in its designation) planning as a priority area of its intervention. Considering planning as a fundamental process, whether we talk about organizational or territorial strategic planning, or about operational planning at the level of programs or projects, Logframe has specific knowledge, extensive experience and appropriate tools to respond to any request in these domains.

Processes of strategic planning in the ambit of Social Networks (Social Diagnostics and Plans of Social Development), of organizational strategic planning (several strategic plans designed for Social Economy organizations) and planning of numerous intervention projects in the most diverse areas, are practical examples of processes where the expertise and specific knowledge of Logframe have already been important assets.

In addition to all this, the unique experience in designing and supporting Programs of various funders, either in their design or in technical advice to support their management, being example of these the PARTIS Program of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the UNICEF “Children’s Friendly Cities” Program, or the Municipal Plans for Migrants Integration to the High Commission for Migration.

Evaluation and Monitoring

This is a highly specialized area of Logframe, who counts on its team with internationally recognized and highly specialized professionals in this field. Logframe has extensive experience in the design and implementation of evaluation models/systems for organizations, services, programs, projects and also for measuring professional performance.

Logframe has been developing Evaluation Models for Social Networks, for Programs (e.g. EEA Grants, PARTIS and Children’s Friendly Cities), for intervention projects, and also for the performance management of professionals from Social Economy Organizations.

The evaluation is also one area of focus in Logframe’s internationalization efforts, collaborating, among others, with the European Commission, CEB – Council of Europe Development Bank, European Council, Sanitation and Water for All, and various funders and stakeholders such as the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Ramboll (Denmark), FEC, IPAV, and others, in evaluations of programs and projects of intervention of international scope, in the area of Cooperation and Education for Development, Environment, Migration, ODS, etc.

Social intervention projects mark the organizations lives. In order to design and manage projects it is fundamental to know the challenges arising from the whole process, from its creation to its implementation.

Logframe has a highly specialized team with proven experience in program and project design processes (collaborators who coordinated national programs, for example) and in the evaluation of applications (for example, PARTIS for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation or EDP at the Traditions programme).

It is based on this vast experience that we support organizations to transmit their ideas to projects designed in a robust and professional way which are value propositions to the financing entities, whether these are Foundations, the State or grants under the European Structural Funds and Investment of Portugal 2020.

Quality Management

Quality is an increasingly important challenge in the growth and sustainability of organizations, having a growing influence on the relationship with its customers, partners and suppliers, on rationalization of internal processes, in the statement of achieved results, and in the qualification of the management role in these organizations.

Logframe has been monitoring and actively collaborating with a significant number of organizations of the third sector in the implementation of quality management systems (QMS), based on both the ISO Standards and others, like the ones developed and published by the Social Security Institute. However, our focus is not limited to obtaining certification. Although this is important, it is fundamental for us that the definition and implementation of a QMS constitutes a true process of organizational qualification, and that all improvements introduced, or procedures created, are subject to criteria of utility and valuation of our customers and contribute to increasing the social impact of their intervention.

Studies and Research

Along with our consulting and training activities, Logframe leads or collaborates in Studies or Investigations in several areas.

The investigative posture represents for us a challenge and a responsibility in the context of a social reality that requires a permanent, current and profound interpretation, for an effective transformation of that same reality.

The research we do allows to generate knowledge about the social reality in which many programs and projects intervenes, and in the other hand it grounds the intervention that one wishes to carry out. Through appropriate methodologies and diversified and innovative techniques, we collect, compile and analyze all the necessary information that can contribute to a micro level, in concrete intervention, but also, at a macro level, for the design of social policies.

Our research logic, centered on intervention, allows the application of one of the key values of Logframe – Utility.

Some examples of Logframe intervention in this area are Educational Letters; Municipal Social Letters; Social Diagnosis; Market Studies; Demographic Projections; and Studies about intervention processes and diversified publics.

Logframe has a vast history of support to organizations or projects in the planning, execution and evaluation of the success of actions in the area of communication. It is essential to plan the communication in order to achieve the organization’s objectives, and use the most effective resources and tools. And mostly, it is important to know and listen to the organization’s audiences.

Logframe has been working in this area of communication since July 2018, through an autonomous brand, BUZZ – Communication Agency for Social Economy.
